Owners, Phil and Katrina Kelly bought the business in 2005 and since that time have been on a mission to flourish and construct the biggest and maximum environmentally cordial vehicle wash possible. After researching numerous technologies in America they found the purest water treatment system in their own backyard with local water treatment company aka word at Caboolture. Katrina Kelly, co owner of the car wash explains getting their water recycling system right: More and more people are realizing the benefits to the environment and our waterways of not washing their cars at home and letting those suds and that cherished water go straight down the drain. Australians have a very active environmental conscience and we can see this growing in our community. With the treatment system in place, the Kelly’s installed two 144,00 lire water tanks underground one to recycle the water to A class potable water quality, the other to apprehend rain water, and then set about expanding the number of car wash bays both instinctive and manual to face growing consumer demand. With the new name and expanded premises, Hippo’s Splendid Wash will unveil the TrueBlue Dog Wash with wash, flea treatment and drying facilities for your favorite four legged friend.

We pride ourselves on having a clean, sound and clean site. Vending Drinks Machines Located in between our change machines is our vending machine. There is also a vending machine and cold drinks machine located over close our dog wash’s. All that you need is to bring along your own muffs and delight remember to succeed the marine flush instructions, which are posted beside the console. These bays are double the length, so that your car and boat can be washed at the equivalent time and no need to worry about your car being exposed to other vehicles while you wash you boat.
