000 Little Hero
Health Safety in Moreton Bay

As the presentation moves along, more children get to join the group of little heroes. The 000 Little Hero program is a great step in helping children to feel confident being little heroes to get help on the way. All too often, the only person who can help doesn't know how to access emergency services. They have family members involved in the emergency services and are passionate about education and child safety. The program was founded by a registered teacher and a registered nurse, both mothers of young children. The presentation ends with the children learning the 000 Rhyme. When they find that Bonza Bear has had an accident in the playground they are involved in making a 000 call and get to answer the operators questions. Through scenarios with the children they learn what to say when making a 000 call. Children learn through posters and interaction with the presenters what an emergency is and who to call. (more).
